This June long weekend, talented Ngunawal artists Jazz and Kristal from Wilay Designs will be painting the bus stop at the front of Gawari Mada on Beaurepaire Cres. Jazz and Kristal have designed a beautiful mural depicting the story of this area – the plants and animals, the mountains and streams, the Ngunawal people and now the journey of the present day community group at Gawari Mada.
Please join us at 1 pm Sunday 11 June on site with Wilay Designs to add your hand print to the mural as a symbol of commitment to reconciliation, caring for our park and caring for Country.
