The temporary site fence is setup to keep the community safe during the establishment of the water harvesting trenches. It has been established with space for the earthworks machinery and vehicles to move around the micro-forest footprint – so the fence outline is quite a bit larger than the actual micro-forest footprint will be. Particular care will be taken throughout the earthworks process to protect the ant nest and nearby trees/tree root systems.
