By popular demand! We are holding another volunteer induction session, this time on a weekend – Saturday 26 March 10 am to 10.45 am at Boyle Place Playground in Holt.
The ACT Government Coordinator for the Urban Parks and Places Volunteering program will be onsite to step through the induction checklist for the program. This session is designed for any community members and volunteers who would like to be involved in formal Holt Micro-Forest working bee events. The session will cover safety procedures and best practice techniques for park land-care.
There is no need to RSVP for this event, but please register for the volunteer program here. To be covered by insurance and eligible for personal protective equipment and training, registration is required.
