Ngunawal Community Connection

Ngunawal Country artwork by Wilay Designs. The elements in the design represent waterways, animal and travelling tracks. The colours are inspired by Ngunawal Country, our community gardens and the Holt Community.

Please join us for this very special community session with Ngunawal Traditional Custodian Tyronne Bell @thunderstone01 on Saturday 3 September at 2 pm in the Holt Micro-Forest.

Tyronne will commence this session with a Welcome to Country. He will teach us about the cultural significance of the area and display traditional artefacts and stone tools, talking to us about their traditional uses.

Tyronne will also share with us the Ngunawal Language name that has been selected by Ngunawal Elders for our park.

This is a very special occasion and we look forward to sharing it with you.
