It has been too wet and muddy to do much more on-site this weekend, but we have now distributed all the mulch from the mulch piles for both the Micro-Forest and Food Forest. It’s looking lovely.
We are expecting another mulch delivery this week for the Micro-Forest depending on the weather. We are also gradually setting up temporary picket lines outside the Micro/Forest planting area to discourage foot traffic over the beds while everything is getting established. The perimeter security fence will remain in place for the next little while as the final earthworks are completed. More rain on its way soon! 🌧
