Project Update

Following in-principle approval from the ACT Government in 2021, we are now getting closer to obtaining formal approval to commence work on the ground in Autumn. Here is a quick update on some recent progress.

Food Forest:
We are pleased to share with you that the landscape design, plant list and project forms for the Food Forest have now been submitted to Transport Canberra and City Services (TCCS) for approval. Well done Corey Le Mesurier for his work on these.

Micro-Forest:
The landscape design from Edwina Robinson and the water harvesting design from Paul Totterdell are well progressed. We have also socialised a draft of the landscape design and plant list with TCCS, and are working with them to confirm and fine tune measurements between design elements. These should be ready to submit for approval soon.

Planting days:
The plants from the plant list that we shared with you earlier are now being ordered and are starting to arrive.

We’re looking forward to work starting on-site in Autumn.

Following formal approvals we will schedule in earthworks and planting days. It’s getting close now!
