Here are some photos from a visit yesterday to the Fowles Street Park Woodland Restoration Project in Weston. It’s a truly beautiful place – and amazing work done by the community. Thank you to Alice, Rosemary, Rainer and Marianne for the tour and sharing your experiences with our group! Very inspiring. This restoration work has regenerated the type of environment that would have occurred naturally in this area before Canberra was established. Read more about this project here.
Would you like to see a small pocket of this woodland environment under the Brittle Gums at the eastern side of Boyle Park, closest to Beaurepaire Crescent? An ideas for the future!
