Our crowd funding campaign is launching on Tuesday 1 June! We are using the Start Some Good platform. Like many crowd funding platforms, this is an “all-or-nothing” model! This means donor pledges will not be processed unless we hit our fundraising target of $20,000 – this is called our tipping point.
The reason why crowd funding platforms use this model is because it creates less risk for donors, reassuring them that they won’t be charged unless our project gets the minimum needed to achieve the stated goals.
Statistics show projects are 400% more likely to hit their goal with “all-or-nothing” crowdfunding model. If you’d like to read more about how it works, check out the link here

- Sharing the campaign with your networks regularly throughout June
