Gawari Mada Holt Micro-Forest is holding its end of year celebration this Sunday 15 December from 10 am to 2 pm – and you’re invited.
Bring a picnic and a blanket, and join us for this event! The ANU School of Art and Design will on-site creating an artistic print design on fabric using natural dyes collected from plants around the park. The design has been inspired by community contributions throughout 2024, including art work from local primary school students earlier in the year.
Highergrounds Coffee Co (with cold drinks too) will be arriving at 12 pm and will be available until 2 pm.
We also have a Mr Wippy icecream van coming too around 11 am.
There will be a small number of stalls including a juggling stall with activities, a hand-made kid’s accessory stall, and a stall from The Micro-Forest Collective.
An accessible port-a-loo will be available on the day too.
