Community art and planting day 24 March 2024

The Community art and planting day is on tomorrow 24 March 2024 at Gawari Mada!

From 10 am we have a special visit from Dr Rebecca Mayo and her team from ANU School of Art & Design. Dr Mayo and her team will be running a community art initiative at Gawari Mada over the next 12 months, inspired by the biodiversity and community. The visit tomorrow will be the first engagement with our community and an opportunity to discuss the concept and ideas for how we can participate.

Afterwards we will be planting and mulching at the Food Forest. Corey Le has been successful in another grant to infill the edible gardens. Please brings gloves, shovels and wheelbarrow if you can!

Between 12-1 pm there will be a light vegan-friendy lunch for volunteers.
